As Crown Heights prepares for the lively nights of Simchas Beis HaShoeiva, Sergeant Mike Baratta of the NYPD 71st Precinct Community Affairs Unit has issued a letter reiterating that no stands, booths, or unauthorized setups will be permitted on the streets or sidewalks during the celebrations.
The directive aims to ensure public safety and maintain a smooth flow for the thousands who join nightly festivities.
Alongside the NYPD’s announcement, organizers have unveiled a special Children’s Program featuring exciting entertainment and prizes.
Dr. Schnitzel will headline on Thursday night, and Rabbi B will appear on Sunday night.
Both programs will begin at 7:00 PM with the 12 Pesukim, followed by joyous dancing for children.

Excellent
Its about time!
Finely they are making a move!
There has been chaos and drama in crown heights for years with many agitators coming and making trouble!
This is the first step to tone down the wreck on Kingston avenue.
THANK YOU!
MAKE CROWN HEIGHTS GREAT AGAIN!!
Side streets will become the main streets
ban all venders and make sure there are no ladies going in the men section and of course the other way around!
Entertainment is nice but kids are better served when they have opportunities to work hard and develop entrepreneurial skills
there is a time and place for everything kids developing entrepreneurial skills are great but simchas beis isn’t where it should be done…..
to clear the whole entire area near JCM, the Dreidel, chocolatte and Mendys and all the blocks up until the dancing, should allow for no hanging out. People need to be walking to or from Simchas Bais Hashoevea, but not hanging out on street corners or on the sidewalks or in the streets
No one can stop us from hanging around on public property! Last I checked, street corners, sidewalks and streets are open to the public!
The vendors are a good thing it keeps all the “chaos” in one place rather then it now being spread across brooklyn albany and the alleys we want to watch for trouble and have it in a more less controlled/surveyed area all the reasons above are excuses.
How can you say something like that what lies what we had in the past were boys and girls mixed we need to stop the the fights that happened last year enough is enough this is the rebbes city you can’t just stand by and watch this is a call to action 1 step at a time make the rebbes city great again moshiach now!!!
They already build Sukkah for 1/2 of the blocks.
Hopefully this will also take away the Pritzus problem
SEE SOMETHINIG SAY SOMETHING!
You shouldn’t see. Do not look!
thank you
