Nshei Ubnos Chabad gathered in honor of the 60th Yartzeit of Rebbetzin Chana Schneerson, Mother of Royalty, the Rebbe’s mother on 6 Tishrei.
Hundreds of women filled Bais Rivka Lefferts Roza hall for the inspiring event with Guest speaker Mrs. Chanie Zalmanov, Shlucha in Queens, NY.
Mrs. Zalmanov, named Chana after Rebbetzin Chana during the year after her passing, daughter in law of Mrs. Yocheved Zalmanov, shared parts of her mother in law’s journey with Rebbetzin Chana as she escaped on the last train out of Russia, spent time in Poking with her and accompanied the Rebbetzin as she began her journey to Paris to reunite with the Rebbe.
Chavele Bronstein sang a beautiful song, Crown of Creation, written for Rebbetzin Chana and niggunim.
All participants received a gift souvenir, a first unique book “Touching souls,” beautiful short stories of how mivtzoim impact the world. This new book was published by the Nshei Chabad mivtzoim committee.
