A festive Purim was celebrated in Casablanca, with programs by Chabad of Morocco led by Shluchim Rabbi Levi and Chana Banon.
With the assistance of a group of Yeshiva bochurim, the Megillah was read 35 times for over 200 people.
Some 60 Mishloach Manos were distributed, bringing the joy of the holiday to people at home.
A grand festive Purim seudah was held for over 450 people, featuring entertainment by Jewish rapper Nissim Black.
A special guest in attendance at the seudah was the Israeli Ambassador to Morocco David Govrin, as both countries recently renewed diplomatic ties.
