New Haven Zal Completes Masechta

Over the course of the year, 12 Bochurim of Yeshivas Bais Dovid Shlomo of New Haven Zal diligently learned and reviewed the entire Maseches Kesubos.

Throughout the year, the Bochurim completed a series of ten tests on ten Dafim of Gemara, and two finals on 55 Dafim of Gemara.

The tests were prepared and arranged by Hatamim Hashliach Shmuel Wilschanski, who was there throughout the year as well to help guide the Bochurim through the Masechta and answer questions whenever necessary.

On Chof Sivan, a banquet was held in the Yeshiva and a Siyum was led by Hatomim Shneur Jacobs.

The boys were rewarded for their hard work in addition to receiving certificates for completing the Masechta.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the Bochurim who took part in finishing the Masechta, as well as to the Menahel Rabbi Menachem Mendel Wilhelm, and to the Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Kalmenson.

It is our hope that the learning of this Masechta has instilled in the Bochurim the proper foundation to learn many more Masechta’s to come, continuing to give the Rebbe much joy and Nachas.
