New Daily Rambam App Released for Gimmel Tammuz

As we complete the 40th cycle of Limmud Harambam, Chabad.org is releasing a new mobile app dedicated exclusively to Limmud HaRambam.

Aside from the Rambam text and a comprehensive database of Shiurim, the app introduces a new technology that allows you to click on any halacha to hear a Shiur on it specifically, and as you listen to a Shiur, the text scrolls to and highlights the correct place.

The project was made possible by a generous grant from Rabbi Shloimy and Mirele Greenwald, and due to the tireless dedication of Yosef Mintz and the development staff of Osfy to bring the technology up to the highest standards.

Rabbi Yehoshua B. Gordon’s acclaimed shiurim are available in the app, amongst many others.

Rabbi Chaim Zaklos, who was instrumental in coordinating the project, told COLlive, “we started months ago with the vision of setting up an online “one stop shop” for everything Rambam.

“Other learning initiatives have had similar digital resources available for a while, and we thought it appropriate that the Rebbe’s Takkanah receive a similar platform.

“With tremendous Siyata Dishmaya, and with the generous support of Rabbi Shloimy and Mirel Greenwald, we were able to recruit a top technical team to pull off the project.

“We are sure that the project will bring the Rebbe much Nachas Ruach, and that the efforts of all involved will bring us one step closer to our ultimate goal of being reunited with the Rebbe immediately!”
