Multiple people were injured during a shooting at Taste of the City Lounge in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, at 3:30 am on Sunday.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) did not state how many people were wounded in the incident or what their conditions were.
9 people were injured. The gunman is still on the loose and the investigation is ongoing.
Police and emergency services are on the scene. They’re checking security footage and speaking to witnesses. No arrests yet, and no info on the victims’ conditions.

In NYC there are shootings every day – NEAR Jewish neighborhoods!
and either way these are human lives!! we lost 3 people from our Neighboorhood! we really would attend the funeral if it we’re’nt mixed, and the families would be okay with it, and all according to halacha! just because we can’t be there in person does’nt mean we can’t be there in spirit! what crazyniss is going on!
btw i do think we should learn from this to stay safe at night time.

i dont understand all this talk about crown heights being not safe and that people should leave – when it was a lot worse of a situation and all the other jews left crown heights, the Rebbe screamed by farbrengens that people cannot leave under any circumstances and that this is the place where the frierdiker rebbe chose etc. etc. and it is no different today!!

No one has been caught who did the shootings which makes it not safe for anyone. Can lead to retaliation shootings. Means area is not safe.
