Mrs. Nechama Lazar, a longtime resident of Crown Heights and mother of a Lubavitch family, passed away on Monday, the first day of Sukkos, 5783.
She was 84.
She was the daughter of R’ Avrohom Baruch Pevzner, a chozer of the Rebbe Rashab and the Frierdiker Rebbe.
She is survived by her husband, R’ Yisroel Chaim Lazar and children, Yosef Yehuda Lazar – Palmdale, CA, Esther Raitport – Crown Heights, Avrohom Baruch Lazar – Coral Springs, Florida, Levi Lazar – Pomona, NY, Dini Lazar – Crown Heights and Moshe Lazar – Pomona, NY, and grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister Fruma Junik of Crown Heights.
She was predeceased by her brothers R’ Hillel Pevzner, R’ Itche Pevzner and Mrs. Yehudis Raksin.
The Levaya will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, 12 pm at Shomrei Hadas, 1 pm at 770.
