Mrs. Leah Yehudis (Edith) Scheiner, a longtime Shlucha in Boston, Massachusetts, passed away on Monday, 29 Cheshvan, 5781.
She was 78.
Mrs. Scheiner was a longtime devoted Shlucha in Boston for over 40 years. She was dedicated to Bikur Cholim and was known for her open home.
She is survived by her children, Pinchus Scheiner – Southfield, MI, Rivka Kapalushnick – New York, Mendel Scheiner – Montreal, Sholom Ber Scheiner – Monsey, NY, Dina Teitelbaum – Ottawa, Canada, Bayla Keller – Monsey, NY, and Shmuel Scheiner – Oak Park, MI.
She is also survived by her siblings, Rochel Andrusier – Crown Heights / Lauderhill, FL, Yossi Spanier – New York and Judy Klass – New York.
The Levaya will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, leaving Shomrei Hadas in Boro Park at 11:15 AM and passing by 770 at 12:30 PM.
Shiva will take place at 507 Crown Street.
