Mrs. Devorah Liberow, matriarch of a large Chabad family, passed away on Sunday, 6 Iyar 5785, just a few weeks before her 87th birthday.
Devorah Liberow (née Silber) was the wife of Rabbi Sholem DovBer Liberow of Brunoy, France.
She leaves behind a legacy of Torah, chessed, and devotion to the Rebbe’s mission, with generations of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, serving as Shluchim and devoted Chassidim around the world.
She is survived by her beloved husband Rabbi Sholem DovBer Liberow and her children:

• Mrs. Esther Yarmush – Shlucha in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Canada

• Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Liberow – Shliach in Barranquilla, Colombia
• Mrs. Chana Lebenharetz – Kfar Chabad, Israel
• Mrs. Rachel Shapiro – Paris, France
• Mrs. Chaya Lipsch – Kfar Chabad, Israel
• Mrs. Nechama Barness – Kfar Chabad, Israel
• Rabbi Yeshayahu Liberow – Brunoy, France
• Rabbi Mendy Avraham Liberow – Paris, France
She is also survived by her sister, Matel Katzman of Crown Heights and Yosef Yehuda (Edmond) Silber of Montreal. She was predeceased by her brother Chaim Yekusiel Silber.
Funeral at Har Hazeitim at 10AM local time and shiva to be continued in Brunoy as of Wednesday evening.
Mrs. Matel Katzman will be sitting Shiva in Pomona, NY, where she is recuperating from a surgery.

she was such a women of chesed i remeber 60 years ago when my mother was sick she took me in in brunoy i was 5 years old and had me in her house for almost two months… byh what a beautifull family she build…. i am shure she is not wasting any time she is in gan eden asking hashem to bring moshiach and protect am ysroel …her neshama should have an aliye
