Mr. Joel Yachzel, a longtime member of the Los Angeles Chabad community, passed away on Tuesday, 27 Nissan, 5780.
He was 72.
Joel, born and raised in Los Angeles, was an attorney specializing in wills and estates.
He was a longtime congregant at Kehillas Levi Yitzchok in Los Angeles, and a long time participant in the daily morning Gemorah shiur. He was known for his warmth, and was much loved by all in the community. His infectious smile and joyous personality will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Linda and children, Rebecca (Phil) Ettedgui – Lawrence, NY, Elianna (Eliyahu) Ickovic, Phoenix, AZ, Bentzi (Rivka) Yachzel – Queens, NY, and grandchildren.’
He is also survived by his sisters Betsy Yachzel-Stamm, Los Angeles CA and Sheva Weissman.
The levaya will take place today, Wednesday, passing the Kehillas Levi Yitzchok Shul in Los Angeles at 12 noon on the way to the airport.
