After 3 weeks of learning, activities and trips, Camp Gan Israel Tzeirei Hashluchim of Moscow, Russia, has come to an end. Its campers were the sons of Chabad Shluchim from around Europe.
A festive meal that lasted 8 hours included emotional speeches, songs, greetings from Russia’s Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar, Brazil Shliach Rabbi Dovid Weitman and video greetings from Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chair of Merkos.
Awards were given out to campers who excelled in learning, davening and behavior. A raffle ticket to New York for the upcoming Kinus Hashluchim was raffled off.
Although campers came from diverse locations such as China and Sweden, they connected together around their shared mission of serving Jews in the Shlichus of the Rebbe. The summer camp in Russia intensified the importance of their work.
