The 46th Yud Alef Nissan Mitzvah Tank Parade headed out to drive around the streets of New York City in honor of the Rebbe’s 119th birthday on Yud Alef Nissan.
On board the tanks were Chassidim, bochurim and young children who are spending the day reminding Jewish people of all backgrounds of the upcoming yomtov of Pesach.
Aside from putting on Teffilin with thousands, and distributing hundreds of pounds of Matza, the Mitzvah Tank Parade brings across the Rebbe’s message to all New Yorkers.
The Mitzvah Tank Organization thanked Devorah Halberstam – honorary NYPD commissioner and community activist, the NYPD Highway Patrol and the 71st Pct. under the leadership of Commanding Officer Inspector Joseph Hayward, as well as Officer Mike Baratta and Officer Taisha Skyers for their assistance in making the parade possible.
YOU can become one of the Rebbe’s special Tankistim by contributing to the Charidy Campaign, which was started for the sake of the continuation of the Rebbe’s Tanks!
The Mitzvah Tank Office is turning to YOU for much-needed financial support for both this parade and for future Mitzvah Tank endeavors!
Whether it’s Chanukah, Sukkos, Yud Alef Nissan, or even just a regular Friday, DOZENS of Mitzvah Tanks are storming the streets of NYC, spreading Yiddishkite to the world, in accordance with the Rebbe’s directives.
Your contribution will enable the gifts to continue to be given, both to the Rebbe and, by extension, the entire world!
