From the COLlive inbox:
I received two letters to my address, one to my address and one to a past resident.
The letters are long, handwritten letters, in a handwritten addressed envelope.
The letters are about “g-d” and “prophets”, it seems to be Jehovah’s witnesses, and they have a website to visit for more information.
What concerns me is that someone took the time to handwrite a long letter, and sent it not only to me, but possibly to many others as well, since I have received 2 to my address and a neighbor of mine has gotten one as well.
I want to make people aware of this, that if they receive something similar, not to read it and throw out immediately.

I think you are giving a bit too much value to these missionaries and their attempts. Though I do feel like there has been an uptick in trying to get Jews to convert, cautioning us to throw them out and acting in fear of them seems like overkill. We are making this too special by bringing attention to it, it’s literally what missionaries want. If someone converts because of a handwritten ad, then clearly we need to focus a bit more on our own people, and less on what others are doing.
