For Purim, Rabbi Mendel Samuels of Chabad of the Valley in Simsbury, Connecticut, is using a new creative media tool to teach the Mitzvahs of Purim and to promote his center’s activities.
In the one minute funny video featuring two “miniature Chassidim” who are talking to a man, all four Mitzvahs of Purim are quickly taught while keeping the audiences attention.
The Shliach’s son, Chaim Samuels, a Yeshiva student who has a passion for acting and comedy, stars alongside Dani Lewkowicz.
“Both Chaim and Dani jumped at the opportunity to be a part of a funny video tool to teach about Purim,” says Adam Nesenoff of Boca Raton, Florida, who produced the clip.
They were assisted by Chabad bochurim Mendel Grossbaum of Stony Brook, NY; Shlomie Lishner of Crown Heights and Mendel Shollar of Far Rockaway, NY.
The video also features Aharon Vogel of Crown Heights and his daughter Shaina.
