The new Mesivta Lubavitch of Monsey announced that Rabbi Boruch Dov Lesches, Rov of the local Lubavitch community and a renowned posek, will be joining its faculty.
Rabbi Lesches will be giving periodic shiurim in practical halachah to the students at the new Mesivta.
“The Talmidim will enjoy this wonderful opportunity of learning Halacha from a practicing Rav in addition to their high caliber regular shiurim in Nigleh and Chassidus,” the Mesivta said.
Mesivta Lubavitch of Monsey is under the direction of Rabbi Menachem Aizenman, Menahel Ruchni of the Yeshiva.
The new mesivta is being organized by parents in the Monsey community who have a vested interest in assuring that their children have a mesivta of the highest caliber.
The mesivta is now accepting applications for Shiur Aleph for the upcoming 5774/75 zman from prospective local and out of town students.

The Monsey Mesivta couldn’t have made a more perfect choice than Rabbi Boruch Lesches. He is a warm, energetic, and brilliant Rav. The new mesivta should have resounding success, with the help of HaKodosh Boruch Hu!!
Rabbi Lesches is the best Rav. He always answers his phone or will call you back a few minutes later if he missed it. He is so Inspiron and gives over Halacha so clearly!
after much research and looking into all the details and with Rabbi Aizenmann as the Menahel Ruchni i feel the Mesivta will be very sucssesful with giving our children an emeser Chasidishe chinuch.
Yasher Koach to all those who put in a lot of time and energy in organizing this new Mesivta.
Hoping and praying for its success. As a Crown Heightser I have been waiting a long time for a near by mesivta in a chasidishe place. Its being an hour away from crown heights in a frume superb along with a growing Lubavitch community makes it the perfect choice for your son.
As someone who attends his weekly halacha shiurim, Rabbi Lesches and his phenomenal halacha shiurim are sure to be a great asset to the Mesivta. Much Hatzlocho!
After speaking with Rabbi Aizenman I found him motivated, energetic and very knowledgeable with the right vision about directing a new Mesivta. Its the place I would like to send my son iy”h. Wishing Monsey much Hatzlocho Bezras Hashem!!
I’ve been at the plannings of this project!..This is being done right!! This promises to become one of the best mesivtas in America!!! ..If not world!!
