“Meat,” the trendy kosher restaurant which opened in Crown Heights in 2019, has finally reopened for dining after being closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The restaurant which had become a popular destination for fine kosher dining and an elevated food experience, had been closed since the shutdowns due to the coronavirus in March.
Owner Danny Branover chose not to open the restaurant for outdoor dining, like he did Basil Pizza and Wine Bar and Bakerie/Zabari.
This week, with Governor Andrew Cuomo allowing for indoor dining in New York at 25 percent capacity, the restaurant has re-opened to the delight of customers.
The restaurant offers the same menu of superbly fine dining from Executive Chef Reem Look.
The menu also includes a number of new offerings, such as house-made fettuccine with duck confit in sweet potato and cardamom puree topped with wild rice, Ravioli stuffed with beef Oso Bucco, fresh Italian sausages, and limited edition USDA Prime rib steak aged for 200 days.
The restaurant bar is open, with drinks served at the table only.
The menu includes a full selection of liquor from around the world, and a full selection of exquisite wines, some of which are from wineries that were willing to make mevushal versions exclusively for Meat.
