Dear Members of the Community:
As the yahrzeit of my sister, Rebbetzin Edith Bloch A”H, is approaching, I, on behalf of her family, am reaching out to all members of the community whose lives may have interfaced with my sister in any aspect of her multifaceted life, whether as a Bais Yaakov Chumash teacher, as the Director of the Shalom Senior Citizen Center, or as the organizer and inspiration of the Crown Heights Women’s Oneg Shabbos.
We are, IY”H, planning to put together a booklet, on the occasion of her Yartzeit, L’Ilui Nishmosa and we are seeking contributions in the form of letters, essays, or notes from those who knew her to include in this booklet.
We would be especially appreciative of submissions that describe the influence that Rebbetzin Bloch had on their lives.
Of course, any thoughts about her and her accomplishments that you would like to share would likewise be appreciated. (photos would also be appreciated)
