Tonight and tomorrow is Chof Hey Adar, the birthday of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka.
Here are some ways to bring the spirit of this special day into your home and make it exciting for your family:
-Set up the table beautifully
-Light festive candles
-Cut out flowers and write facts about the Rebbetzin on them
-Review the special minhagim of a Jewish birthday.
-Say the Rebbetzin’s new Kapital. (124) and Kapital Chof for Eretz Yisroel.
– Have grape juice and L’chaim cups ready
-Sing a Chassidishe Niggun. Example: Aimosai Ka’asi Mar or Keili Ata.
– Give Tzedaka together
