LA Mesivta Holds Raffle

The shluchim to the Mesivta in Los Angeles culminated a wildly successful campaign to prepare for Yud Shvat with a raffle ceremony on Thursday night.

In the weeks leading up to Yud Shvat, the Bochurim of Mesivtas Yeshiva Ohr Elchanan Chabad prepared themselves for their trip to the Rebbe. There was a feeling of electricity in the air every day as the bochurim took on hachlotos such as going to the mikvah every day or learning an extra maamar of Chassidus.

Lunch and supper breaks found an exceptional amount of bochurim sitting in the Zal, poring over the Rebbe’s sichos and Maamarim.

Every night after seder, the Shluchim arranged special Moshiach Shiurim and Seder Sichos, with the vast majority of the Tmimim participating on a nightly basis.

Points were earned for every ois repeated by heart and for every checklist filled out.
