One of the most exclusive charity events — the Ten Yad Hachnosos Kallah Chinese Auction — is back this year with its magnificent, ground-breaking prize offerings and powerful performances by three of the most well-known names in Jewish entertainment: recording artists Kineret, Chanale, and Rivkah Krinsky.
Throughout the auction program, Kineret, Chanale, and Rivkah will wow the audience with selections from their most popular recording hits. The program will begin at 8:30pm.
Kineret has been described as being “blessed with a voice of incredible range and an abundance of charisma, mesmerizing audiences worldwide with the sheer magnitude of her talent.” Chanale’s “melodic and moving songs open the hearts and touch the spirits of women everywhere, inspiring all-female audiences in places as far as China, Alaska and Israel.” And Australian Rivkah Krinsky, a fresh face on the Jewish music scene, captures her all-women audiences with her powerful voice and soulful tunes.
The gala event will be held on Sunday, November 8, at the beautiful Razag Ballroom at 739 East New York (between Albany & Troy Aves.) in Crown Heights. The auction viewing, bidding, and light buffet will take place from 5:00-8:30pm, with the program, entertainment and auction drawing beginning, G-d willing, at 8:30pm. Convenient bus service will be offered to and from Boro Park and Flatbush (call 718-756-1482 for bus info). Valet parking will also be provided.
The Grand Prize at this year’s auction is a whopping $25,000 in cash, with an affordable ticket price of only $50.00. Topping the list of close to 100 prizes are a $12,000 diamond necklace, a $12,000 gift certificate for gorgeous dining room furniture, a top name bone china tablesetting-for-24, and a 2-year lease on a 2010 minivan or sedan, in addition to an array of lavish prizes including a complete collection of sterling silver Judaica, a luxurious living room set, state-of-the-art laptop and home computers, a complete boy’s or girl’s bedroom set, trips to Israel and Florida, and custom sheitels from Shevy and other top names in the business.
Always on the cutting edge of auction innovation, Ten Yad first instituted the “choose your own” prize system a few years back with winners able to choose the exact style, color and design of the prize they win, and a “no restrictions” policy on vacation packages.
Ten Yad Hachnosas Kallah has been providing assistance to needy kallahs for over 25 years, helping orphans and young brides in dire circumstances with the overwhelming expenses of a Jewish marriage and setting up a new home.
The proceeds of the auction are used exclusively to provide the basics of a Jewish home (two sets of dishes, flatware, pots and pans, linens, towels, trousseau items, and a beautifully styled sheitel) and wedding needs (flowers, a beautiful gown, and money toward the band).
Ten Yad is known for the dignity with which it helps kallahs, giving inconspicuously and graciously, so that no one, not the kallah nor her friends, have any idea that the kallah is a recipient of tzedakah. Contributors have the opportunity not only to fulfill the mitzvah of hachnosas kallah, but to do it b’hiddur, by giving matan b’seter (giving charity “in secret”).
Join Ten Yad for the charity event of the year and the privilege of participating not only in the establishment of Jewish homes but the perpetuation of future generations amongst our people.
where can i hear youur music beautiful voice!!
i just have a slight feeling that you number 4 is not a shliach…because geuss what shluchim arent millionairs who are just able to supposrt themselves…shluchim actually do need ten yads help and not only that i think ten yad gets enought money from these auctions that there doesnt need to be limits…and especially for shluchim…maybe devorah bejamin can help you corwne heights people but yes shluchim need a lot of help money wise and dont just think that they get supposrt from there ballabatim 😎
There’s alot of talent out there no doubt. But chana motckin’s voice, lyrics and music just touches every heart and soul, starting with her song “Rebbe we need you”. Chana, where is your long overdue CD? Let’s have it already!

The same birdie (as above) told me that Mayer Rivkin is doing one of Channa Motchkin’s English songs on his new upcoming CD. Boy are we in for a treat!

a birdie told me chanale will be singing one of benny friedmans new songs tonight!!
and i am happy to have be proven wrong. i was speaking from personal experience, but it may very well have been an anomaly. critique well taken.
very much looking forward to the auction tonight. i hope its a huge success for them so they can help everyone, including shluchim.
when I was a kalla, Ten Yad helped me tremendously in every way – from my kitchen dishes, to my bedding and lots of gift certificates and so much more!!
…I do not live in CH…
All I can say is I don’t know how I would have been able to manage without Ten Yad
Thank you again
🙂
I know at least 3 out of town Kallas that TY has assisted in the past (2 were daughters of shluchim, 1 was not)…Keep up the great work Ten Yad!
Ten Yad has helps everyone in need and that they can. Unless you are certain about something you should not just say it. They help many many people in the community as well as shluchim.
#2, i’m not if what you’re saying is true or not, but shluchim have the boglubov foundation and myriads of other organizations for support. dont be jealous of the few things we actually do for “unzere”. charity begins at home.
Attention #2
Need to hear complete story from both sides first!!
actually we got help from ten yad and we’re shluchim so maybe it has limits
Imagine that if I, a Crown Heights resident, complained that I was rejected from the Bugolov fund ( which assists Shluchim for weddings, Bar Mitzvos, Brissim, etc). Such a complaint would be out of place. Ten Yad assists Crown Heights primarily and if they can, Shluchim and out of towners as I know people who have been helped.
G-d should bless you that you should never need their help.
While I’m sure Ten Yad does wonderful work for the people of CH, it should be noted that they have in the past refused to assist families of Shluchim in need.
Cant wait for the best event of the year!
