An event will take place on Tuesday evening, the eve of 6 Av, to mark the first Yartzeit of Rabbi Yoel Kahn OBM, the preeminent scholar of Chassidus in the last century who raised generations of Chassidim as Head Mashpia of the Central Chabad Yeshiva.
The Kinus Torah and Farbrengen will take place with the participation of Rabbonim, Mashpiim, members of the Hanhola of the Yeshiva and students of R’ Yoel, and will be held on the subject of Hilchos Beis Habechira, as per the directives of the Rebbe to learn about the Bais Hamikdash during the 9 Days.
Speakers will include Rabbi Avrohom Hertz, Shliach in Bensonhurst, NY, Rabbi Nachman Yosef Twersky, Mashpia and Educator, and Rabbi Dovid Feldman, Editor in Chief of Vaad Hanochos B’Lahak.
Special video presentations on the life and teachings of R’ Yoel will be included in the program.
The event will take place Tuesday, 5 Av, at Kolel Menachem, 1483 Union Street, corner Kingston Avenue. Mincha at 7:45 PM, Program begins at 8:00 PM.
