The organizing committee of the International Kinus Hashluchim announced that the Gala Banquet will be held once again at the New Jersey Conference and Expo Center, and at the same time of the day.
In the past, the banquet which brought together Chabad Shluchim and supporters, was an evening event that went on through the night with farbrengens back at 770 Eastern Parkway.
But in recent years, the banquet has been moved to Sunday afternoon and it seems like it will remain this way, “Following positive feedback from shluchim,” the Vaad Hakinus said in an email.
“This timing aims to enable maximum participation from shluchim worldwide, with a focus on accommodating those who wish to travel in the evening,” the Vaad wrote.
The banquet will take place on Sunday, 25 Cheshvan, 5786 (November 16, 2025). Buses will depart Crown Heights beginning at 11:30 AM, with return service provided after the event’s conclusion. Doors will open at 12:00 PM, followed by a pre-program at 12:30 PM, and then the main banquet will commence at 1:30 PM.
Organizers explained that this timing will allow many shluchim to return home or continue their journeys on Sunday evening while still taking part in the full program.
On the other hand, it does limit the Shluchim who remain behind with their communities for Shabbos to fly into New York in time for the event.
The banquet is the culmination of the Kinus HaShluchim, the annual international conference where thousands of Chabad Shluchim gather to study, connect, and strengthen their mission.
Known as the largest kosher dinner in the world, the banquet brings together more than 5,000 shluchim from over 100 countries, along with supporters and community leaders, for an evening of inspiration, celebration, and reflection.
