Families in Crown Heights have an extraordinary opportunity this school year: Keren Yisroel Sabba, a fund dedicated to strengthening Mosdos Al Taharas Hakodesh, is sponsoring tuition scholarships for new students enrolling at Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch (OYYL).
For over 18 years, Keren Yisroel Sabba has been supporting yeshivos and mosdos around the world, ensuring that financial challenges do not stand in the way of a pure Torah education. This year, the fund is extending its support directly to families in Crown Heights by making it possible for new students to attend OYYL without the tuition strain.
Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch has become known for its warm, chassidishe environment, blending high-level learning with a deep focus on avodas Hashem, personal growth, and character development. For parents seeking a true chassidishe chinuch al taharas hakodesh, this scholarship removes financial barriers while opening the door to a yeshiva community built on values, care, and dedication.
Eliyahu Cohen, co-founder of Keren Yisroel Sabba, shared:
“I am very honored to run such an important organization. Often parents want to send their children to Al Taharas Hakodesh schools but, because they don’t fall neatly into the tight brackets of city vouchers, they cannot afford full tuition. At the same time, the yeshivas that remain fully Al Taharas Hakodesh struggle tremendously, since they receive no government assistance. Their only means of survival is through tuition and donations – and the temptation to introduce secular studies in order to qualify for government support becomes very overpowering.
This is when we step in. We encourage other gvirim who care to join us in helping address this crisis. Every year, more and more yeshivas step away from providing pure Torah education and begin including other studies in their curriculum. We are very pleased to work with Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch over the years, and we are continually amazed at their dedication to the mission. They have managed to create a warm and nurturing environment with very high Torah learning standards. We are honored to provide both full and partial scholarships to families, supporting them in their beautiful decision to send their children to an Al Taharas Hakodesh Cheder.”
