The new Kehot Haggadah was spotted in a store window on trendy Burlingame Avenue, a popular strip in Silicon Valley, California.
Adding to the irony is the fact that at one time the city of Burlingame prohibited Jews from buying property.
To see the Kehot Haggadah, by Rabbi Yosef Marcus, proudly displayed on the town’s main avenue is a minor Pesach miracle of its own, one resident pointed out.
Burlingame Avenue is a lively and bustling street with hundreds of stores and restaurants. This pedestrian-friendly district offers independent emporiums as well as outlets for national chains and designer names, such as Banana Republic, Sephora, as well as specialty boutiques.
The acclaimed Kehot Haggadah was seen in the window of Books Inc. an independent bookseller with 10 locations in California.
I enjoyed the radio interview was a major kiddush Hashem, articulate and passionate. Looking toward to more sefarim from this author who has gift for clarity. Maybe something in halacha????
Gave it a baalehbus who loved it.
And he has so much of the Rebbe’s Hahgadah and presented in a clear and beautiful
Way.
It’s phenomenal Haggadah.
Beautiful to see!!!
“Lechseyofutzu!!!!”
Everyone has his taste, and i like the Marcus Haggadah much more, for various reasons.
Rabbi Yosef Marcus is the Shliach in San Mateo, CA, not far from this location! Not only a great writer/editor, but an amazing Shliach.
They still have bookstores?!?!
