Jewish Educational Media is consolidating and you can benefit from that.
The multimedia company known by its initials, JEM, has recently moved its membership and sales office to their production office at 781 East New York Avenue in Crown Heights.
The move several weeks ago from their longtime office at 784 Eastern Parkway is intended to bring together all JEM’s departments under one roof to better serve the public, COLlive was told.
The production, membership, Living Torah, Living Archive, mobile app, photo site and social media teams will now easily interact and collaborate.
Daniel Freundlich of JEM’s Membership Services said the move will result “in more videos of the Rebbe and quicker responses to our viewers.”
Founded in 1980 to broadcast the public addresses of the Rebbe live via satellite around the world, the company has evolved into Chabad’s multimedia archive responsible for maintaining a lifetime of images and audio of the Rebbe and the Lubavitch movement.
Since the merger of the offices, JEM has needed to make space for additional new staff teams and announced that their massive annual Yud Shevat sale now has the added urgency of necessary “inventory reduction.”
The 4-day clearance sale will end Tuesday at midnight. All videos will be discounted – between 40 and 50% off. Their entire DVD library is on sale for $1,800, almost 60% off.
Explore their sales online at jemstore.com or visit their sales office at 781 East New York Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.
