Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, who served as the Rebbe‘s secretary and is the Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch – the educational arm of Chabad-Lubavitch, didn’t get much rest on Tuesday.
Taking a break from his responsibilities at 770 Eastern Parkway, Rabbi Krinsky went across the street to the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights to participate in the bris of his twin great-grandchildren.
Family and friends were present at the bris, as the parents R’ Shmaya and Rivka Krinsky (nee Stazgovski) and grandparents R’ Hillel Dovid and Sori Krinsky looked on. They were joined by the great-grandparents Rabbi Gershon Mendel and Bassie Garelik of Milan, Italy.
Not long after the joyous ceremony and meal that followed, Rabbi Krinsky left Brooklyn for Long Island where he was a special guest of an evening dedicated to the Rebbe at Chabad of the Five Towns in Cedarhurst.

A full crowd was present to hear Rabbi Krinsky speak about his over four decades of service to the Rebbe as a member of the secretariat. “He was at the apex of Jewish history and has a remarkable insight into the Rebbe’s life,” the invitation said.
Titled “The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Up Close and Personal,” Rabbi Krinsky was interviewed about working at 770 by Larry Gordon, publisher and editor of the 5 Towns Jewish Times, ahead of the Rebbe’s yartzeit on Gimmel Tammuz.
With sushi and dairy desserts served, participants later got to sit around a farbrengen table with Rabbi Krinsky, accompanied by Long Island Head Shliach Rabbi Tuvia Teldon and Five Towns Shliach Rabbi Zalman Wolowik.
