Incentive Tznius Project Continues

PROJECT EDEN HAS ALREADY LAUNCHED.

Project Eden is back, for its third year, better than ever! This exciting program teaches the importance and beauty of tznius and rewards girls who come to camp dressed tzniusdik. The concept is that every girl matters and can make a difference in the world by being careful in all aspects of tznius. The girls get to Eat ice cream, while helping Defend Eretz Yisrael and Am Yisrael Now!

Here is something we can do to protect Yidden around the world! In a sicha to Nshei Ubnos Chabad on 25 Iyar 5730, the Rebbe says that the Jewish nation, despite being scattered, are one nation, and each one feels connected and united to every Yid wherever he might be.

While this is true for all Yidden, it is so in a greater measure for the Yidden who live in Eretz Yisrael. The Rebbe brings down the possuk”כי ה’ אלקיך מתהלך בקרב מחניך להצילך ולתת אויבך לפניך והיה מחניך קדוש ולא יראה בך ערות דבר…” (דברים כג:טו) “for Hashem, your G-d, walks in the midst of your camp to save you and to place your enemies before you and your camp should be holy and He should not see any immodest thing among you…”

The Rebbe says that when Hashem sees that, wherever the Jewish nation finds themselves, there isn’t anything that is the opposite of Tznius, then “Hashem goes amongst them to save them” and “puts their enemies before them”. The enemies of the Yidden will fall before them , without them having to do anything.

In the three weeks, when we mourn the destruction of the Bais HaMikdash, let’s help rebuild it. Let’s unite with this project in this year of Hakhel so that we will speedily merit gathering together in the Bais HaMikdash. And when Moshiach comes, we will be dressed and ready to greet him!

PROJECT EDEN – DRESSED AND READY!

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
Starting Sunday, 25 Tammuz (July 31) until Friday, 8 Av (August 12), Every girl who comes to day camp dressed in Tznius attire (i.e. clothing which keep necklines, elbows, knees,legs and feet covered at all times) will receive an EDEN card. Each card will have a short message about tznius and about the Bais Hamikdash. Eight such cards entitle a girl to a free ice cream at Sweet Expressions or the Ice Cream truck. All cards will be entered into a raffle for a $100 gift certificate at a store of your choice. The drawing will IY”H be held on 18 Elul, the winners being announced on COLlive.

This year there will also be volunteers who will hand out cards to children seen dressed tzniusdig after camp hours.

So, your kids will Eat ice cream, while helping Defend Eretz Yisrael and Am Yisrael Now – EDEN for short. What can be better than that? Taam Gan Eden!
