Oholei Torah PTA’s annual Gala Auction will take place this Motzei Shabbos and Sunday, and is sure to inspire participants.
The theme of this year’s event is one of Chizuk and Emunah. Both the Men and Women’s events will feature keynote speakers who will share their personal stories of pain and tragedy and the Emunah that strengthened them.
Rabbi Gavriel Sasson, the father of the seven children who passed away in a house fire last year, will share personal insights at the Men’s event about maintaining Emunah and Bitachon in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
The women’s event on Sunday will feature Mrs. Dina Hurwitz, a Shlucha and wife of Rabbi Yitzi Hurwitz who suffers from ALS. Dina Hurwitz has shown incredible strength with her message of hope and Emunah. She is an inspiration to all that know her.
Organizers of the PTA auction have reported that there has been much positive feedback and they are expecting a huge turnout. Guests will enjoy lavish hors d’oeuvres, buffet dinner, spectacular desserts including smoothies, ice cream and chocolate stations.
The men’s event will be complete with wine tasting, sushi, and a curated Melave Malka. Additional prizes will be auctioned off exclusively for the men’s evening. As a token of appreciation, guests of both the men’s and women’s event will each receive a selfie stick-the latest in do it yourself photography.
This year’s auction features new state of the art prizes, including a drone, Go Pro Hero IV, u-wheel x-box, limited edition Bugaboo and more.
Come join them for an enjoyable, inspirational and tasty evening. Try your hand at great prizes and most of all know you are helping to support the precious children of Oholei Torah.

I don’t agree with these commenters who are asking collive to post the speeches. This is a charity event for Ohlei Torah. If you want to see the speeches then attend the evening and give to this wonderful yeshiva!!
How about posting them live??? 🙂
If the videos can please be posted on collive after the event.
kol hakavod to pta
Any chance the speeches could be video’d and posted here? Those of us who live out of town could also use some chizuk! 🙂
