I was in the Yeshiva, Rabbi Yaffee comes in to shacharis and breaks the news to us. We went later to the levaya, very sad. I was standing next to the sister of the russian guy who passed away, when she fainted.

At the shloshim dinner in a tent accross the street, i sang in the choir…
The menorah burning there today..
its lights are shining accross the way…

3 lives were lost, for them we mourn….
for the memories hearts are torn….

Thank you Rabbi Cunin for showing us a true example of Simcha and Bitachon!! May we continue to see the fulfillment of all the Rebbe’s promises with Moshiach now!

This was a great test of our Emunah and Determination
This is life, The Rebbe taught us all to move forward in a positive way and not to get distracted looking for reasons
to be part of the solutions and not H’V the problem.
There where three special Neshomos in the Chabad House, for whatever reason H’B chose them as a Korban
we will never know till the arrival of Moshiah.

wow what a sad day that was…….Rabbi Cunin was @ a total loss…..crying like a baby……
i remember Rabbi JJ hecht who was in California that day came to the Levaya……and poshut uplifted us all …….
