The clock is ticking…mere hours remain for the campaign that blesses “500 times more!”
In honor of Chof Av, thousands of Lubavitchers from all over the world have donated towards the maintenance of the Tziyun of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok who is buried in Kazakhstan. These donations will additionally assist the Chabad centers in 7 cities across the republic, under the Head Shliach, Rabbi Yeshaya Cohen.
Our correspondent has learned that thanks to the exciting unity achieved this year between the Shluchim in Kazakhstan and the Shluchim in the Soviet Union, many of the people contributed towards the “500 times more” campaign – both to receive the Rebbe’s brocha and to encourage the shluchim in their holy activity, spreading Yiddishkeit with real devotion, around the clock.
The “500 times more” campaign is based on the Rebbe’s special and rare Brocho that whoever donates in his father’s memory will receive a blessing of “five hundred times in return”.
The Rebbe once answered to one who donated $100 to Keren Levi Yitzchok, and asked the Rebbe if he will receive for his participation even for his small amount. The Rebbe answered “a strange theory-we are holding days away from ‘ksiva vachasima tova’ (which clearly it includes much wealth) and this is the size of his vessel?!”
In light of the request of many people to continue with the campaign, the new goal set is $ 770,000 – to mark the 77th yahrtzeit of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, helping revitalizing Yiddishkeit in the country which he was exiled and buried.
Don’t miss this opportunity to participate!!
