Roni Krivoi, who was released on November 26 after 51 days in Hamas captivity, visited the Rebbe’s Ohel in Queens on Sunday, to say a prayer of thanks for his safe release.
Krivoi, 25, donned Tefillin during the emotional visit to the Ohel.
He thanked Chabad for supporting him throughout his life, and especially since the war.
“Chabad helped me a lot,” Krivoi told the bochurim who accompanied him. The bochurim noted that he now has a great influence on many others since his capture and release. Krivoi noted that he is aware of “how much influence he truly has, and plans to use it for good,” he said.

Fantastic. The visits of the hostages and their families to the Ohel have been one of the more inspiring aspects of the Diaspora community’s response to this war, for me personally. But one example of so many moving actions. There is just something especially heartwarming about this. May G-d bless this man and all of our hostages and our soldiers, and all of the wonderful shluchim of Chabad. Thank you Mr. Krivoi for uplifting us.
So true! To see these families and hostages come to Rebbe, and not even with a group
They come on their own
We have a Moshe in our times! Taking care of us
