Hersh Saginor, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather from Crown Heights, passed away on Wednesday, the 26th of Adar, 5785.
He was 86.
Born in the Soviet Union, Hersh immigrated to the United States in 1994, making his home in Crown Heights, where he lived for the rest of his life. An engineer by training, Hersh was also an avid reader and took on many hobbies.
A devoted husband, he cherished his wife, Leah, and cared for her with unwavering love and dedication until her final moments.
Hersh was known for his humility, warmth, and generous spirit. With his kind smile and sincere heart, he quietly supported many elderly members of the Crown Heights community, always offering help with compassion and dignity.
Above all, he was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His legacy of kindness, humility, and light will continue to shine in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his two daughters, Chana Volkov and Malka Saginor.
Shiva will be observed at 349 Crown Street, Apt. 1C, in Crown Heights from Thursday, March 27, through Tuesday, April 1.
