Camp Gan Israel Florida is world-renowned for its attention to the entire child, a hallmark to the camp is their emphasis on the Ruchniyus, both curricular and extra-curricular.
Located in Lake Worth, Florida, where the sunrise is a marvel to behold, CGI Florida promises to continue its tradition of redefining what a Gan Israel Florida overnight experience is all about, making the dreams of campers comes true.
The culture is infused with the spirit of Ahavas Yisroel; it nurtures a warm, Chassidish and friendly atmosphere; each camper knows that he counts and is cared for by staff and fellow campers alike.
With the summer fast approaching, Camp Gan Israel Florida Overnight for Girls has announced the Head Staff for the summer 5778.
The camp will be led by its Executive Director, Rabbi Yossi Biston and Director, Mrs. Liba Andrusier.
Joining them this summer will be Head Counselors:
Mushky Laufer – Crown Heights, NY
Shaindy Reinitz – Crown Heights, NY
The Learning Curriculum is creative and geared to stimulate involvement and imagination; many of these lessons are supported by weekly game shows and “hands-on” projects to enhance their knowledge, keeping the learning experience fun and enjoyable.
With a nightly “Reflection Time” (a 1 min. Rebbe video and Cheshbon Hanefesh daily) and innovative Tzivos Hashem Program, the campers receive a wonderful level of excitement and are ready and eager to learn each morning.
One of the highlights of CGI is the Tznius Queen and Ahavas Yisroel awards that are given out daily. The campers learn the true importance and significance of what it means to be a Bas Chabad by living it each day.
Shabbos is unique and special as the feeling of Achdus and camaraderie permeates throughout the camp as new friendships are forged and the sweet sound of singing and harmony where Niggunim and camp songs filled the air. Tzivos Hashem memorizing by campers of all ages is a highlight each week.
The goal at our camp is to make everyone feel at home and comfortable. The campers needs are always a priority. We make sure that each and every girl is taken care of and happy. We do whatever necessary to make that happen,” said Rabbi Biston.
“CGI Florida is known for its perfect blend of Chassidishkeit and fun giving a chance for each girl to shine in so many different ways. We are a family camp, where every individual is noticed and cared about. The staff has created an exceptional experience for the campers with their dedication, devotion and positive energy 24-7,” said Mrs. Andrusier.
Facilities are climate controlled and centrally air-conditioned. Meals – not to mention our legendary salad bars – are catered by chef Nissan Pewsner. Special attention is given to campers and staff who have special dietary needs.
