I remember one of those times that the Rebbe visited the FREE shul in CH, before their communal Pesach Seider as he did for a number of years, he pointed to the table arrangement that would’ve had the participants sitting with their backs to the Aron Kodesh and asked that it should be changed so that people do not sit with their backs to the Aron.
