A well-attended Siyum Harambam took place on Monday in the beautiful Zal of Tomchei Temimim Morristown, NJ. Over 300 participants, including Bochurim, Tiferes students, Anash, and Shluchim in neighboring cities were in attendance.
The evening was emceed by Sruli Mishulovin. Mendel Mishulovin opened with a Dvar Torah.
A special highlight of the evening was a moving presentation by Rabbi Yaakov Chaiton, titled “A Worldwide Celebration Begins.” The presentation walked the audience through the Rebbe’s vision on the historic first Siyum Harambam in 5745, featuring videos, pictures, and documents that brought the story to life. The presentation was co-prepared by Yisroel Shemtov and left a strong impression on those in attendance.
The siyumim followed, beginning with a Siyum on Sefer Hamitzvos by Shaya Perlow, followed by the Siyum Harambam by Rabbi Yaakov Wagner, and the Haschala by Rabbi Sholom Spalter. Rabbi Sholom Lubin then shared a personal story about his connection to Limud Harambam, adding a warm and relatable moment to the program.
Guest speaker Rabbi Moshe Gourarie addressed the crowd with powerful words about the strength that comes from daily Rambam learning, encouraging everyone to deepen their commitment and recognize it as a central part of our Hiskashrus.
This event was organized by Boruch Danow, Mendel Slonim, Mendel Treitel, Chaim Azimov and Mendel Seper. Special thanks as well go to Rabbi Chaim Schapiro, Menahel of Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim Morristown, for his ongoing dedication to the Yeshiva and for co-heading the event.
