As Lubavitcher communities and Yeshivos worldwide celebrated the 45th and 15th cycles of Siyum HaRambam on Chamisha Asar B’Shvat, the Toronto Yeshiva marked the occasion with a grand Siyum of its own.
The formal Siyum was delivered by Hatomim Yoav Cooper, followed by the Haschala by Hatomim Levi Bluming. The event was further enriched by divrei hisorerus from the Yeshiva’s Mashpiim, Harav Avraham Mann and Harav Mendel Lieberman.
A particularly moving moment occurred when a local community member shared his personal journey. He recounted how the Yeshiva’s bochurim first encountered him on a cold Chanukah night—a chance meeting that sparked his return to his roots and transformed his life.
Following the speeches, the room erupted into lebedike dancing in honor of the Siyum. The night reached its peak with a special Farbrengen led by Rabbi Osher Farkash, the renowned Mashpia from Argentina, who inspired the students and guests deep into the night.
