Believe it or not we do have the power to reverse this trend of ‘bad news’. Certainly on an individual level, and hopefully even on a communal level. “How?” you may ask. Through notifying the Rebbe of our good tidings.
This has always been true, as the Rebbe continuously reminded those complaining about life’s problems. Accordingly it dictates to us that these days its importance is multiplied manifold. It is exceedingly easy to fall into despair with the many tragedies that have befallen us and with the lives that have become endangered due to Covid19.
Although the pandemic must be handled with responsible care we must be equally vigilant that the negativities involved do not totally overtake us. The truth is that each and every individual has many blessings to count ranging from the simple and easily overlooked ongoing to the more rare kindnesses of Hashem. Even while this nisayon is occurring we can seek out the good that Hashem does for us and bring it to light through writing Besuros Tovos to the Rebbe.
Let us not become enslaved to the bad habit of “Ein baal hanes makir biniso”, not recognizing Hashem’s miracles, especially now when every bit of positive energy counts. Instead, while behaving responsibly, we can strengthen our Tovos by constantly writing Besuros Tovos to the Rebbe.
While there are many ways to accomplish this, one easy way to get into notifying the Rebbe and which can be repeated as often as you want is through using the Besuros Tovos app. Your notification will go directly to the Ohel so your good news can gain momentum ASAP.
If you haven’t yet, you can now download the Besuros Tovos app for both Apple and Android phones.
With best wishes for good news.
The Besuros Tovos app is available on iTunes for the iPhone and Google Play for Android devices.
