Gan Academy Preschool and Girls division celebrated Hey Teves by hosting a book fair for students and families. Each class prepared for the fair by creating a different display that reflected their knowledge of the special day according to their academic level.
The preschool classes focused on the visual aspects of Seforim. They designed Aleph-Beis creations, bookmarks, and composed books of their own. The elementary school girls learned about the concept of Bayis Maalei Seforim and discussed and researched key Seforim in Torah and Chabad Chassidus.
Each class had the opportunity to visit the Hey Teves fair throughout the day to admire the students’ hard work. During their visit, they heard a story from school director Mrs. Esther Betesh and enjoyed a “Sefer” shaped cookie. Students had fun taking photos with the giant Sefer and perused the books on display.
At the end of the day, parents visited the fair with their children and had the chance to purchase books and stamp their own names into their new Seforim.
What a wonderful school for my daughter, full of creativity, warmth and real Simcha shel Mitzvah. Thank you GA for all that you do!
Gan Academy is such a wonderful school. The Yeshiva division is also such a warm and wonderful place for children to thieve, so grateful to have found such an incredible environment in which my kids can grow each day!
