Prominent Rov, Rabbi Shmuel Bluming and Crown Heights activist Mr. Leibish Nash are turning to Crown Heights residents and the Chabad community worldwide to support a family in crisis.
Their letter reads:
To Anash worldwide,
We are turning to you for support.
It has come to our attention that a family of Anash from our community is dealing with a severe mental health crisis, where multiple family members require psychiatric care.
Unfortunately, these services are not covered by medical insurance.
The mounting psychiatric and therapist expenses has put the family in a tremendous amount of debt. The debts and mental health issues combined are overwhelming.
During the nine days, when we mourn the destruction of the Bais Hamikdash, and beseech Hashem to send the Geulah, we turn to Acheinu Bnai Yisroel for financial support to help save this family.
גדולה צדקה שמקרבת את הגאולה
Sincerely,
Rabbi Shmuel C Bluming
Leibish Nash

Run to do mitzvahs regardless of tax status!
There is supposed to be parity of Medical and Mental Health Insurance coverage. Perhaps someone familiar with the family could help them navigate services that would be covered by their insurance in order to lessen the burden on the family.
So proud of everyone who gave to date. Many “small” donations are really adding up!
they are very good with these services. they helped a family member
