Avrohom rose from the presence of his deceased wife, and he spoke to the Hittites in these words:
I am a foreigner, and only a sojourner among you. Allow me to purchase a piece of property that I can make into a family burial ground within the territory you control, so that I can bury my deceased (wife) from my presence.
23:3.4.

I don’t want to watch a video. Can anyone or this poster post the answer – why is there no funeral chapel in CH? It’s not as if it’s not a chabad thing. most go to the one in BP anyway on the way to burial
According to the video . . . it was the Rebbe’s nature to deal only with “lively things”, things of “chaim (life)”, that’s why he didn’t allow the Chevra Kadisha to open a funeral home in Crown Heights.
