Freeda Health Giving Back to Hatzalah

As a thank you to Hatzalah who are on the front lines in Crown Heights during the coronavirus pandemic, Freeda Health will be giving a free gift to all active members.

Active Hatzalah members can go to frdvt.mn/hatzalah for a free bottle of Vitamin D.

“We strongly believe that everyone needs to do their part, whatever they can and with whatever means necessary, to help support our Hatzalah Heroes who are out on the frontlines, day and night, fighting for our survival,” the Jewish-owned company says.

“That’s why we at Freeda Health decided to step up and do our part, by giving every active member of Hatzalah a bottle of Vitamin D to help support their immune system, so that they can effectively carry out their lifesaving work and continue fighting for all of us throughout this unprecedented crisis.”

Former CDC Chief Dr. Tom Frieden published a recent article about the numerous potential benefits of supplementing with Vitamin D, including possibly reducing the Coronavirus infection risk.

“If we can help prevent even one single Hatzalah member from getting the virus, then we’ll have had a hand in that member going on to save countless other lives,” the company said.

The company said they hope this encourages other companies to do the same, to help and encourage our neighborhood’s first responders.

“Whether you’re a food establishment and can provide hot meals to members, a supermarket and can offer service to wives of members who can’t make it to the store, or anyone else who can help with anything that members families might be missing, please do what you’re able to,” they said.
