The first reading of the Unity Torah since its worldwide completion celebration was held at 770 Eastern Parkway, in both the upstairs and Main Shul Minyans.
The Torah, which united Jews from around the globe, will be traveling to different Shuls, and will not be kept in one central location, organizers told COLlive.
“The Torah belongs to all the Jewish people, and will be shared by all who feel they need or would like the zechus,” they said.
A website will be launched in the next few weeks from which congregations can apply to host the Torah at their Shul for a period of time, they said.
