Chabad of Southern Mississippi, directed by Rabbi Akiva and Hannah Hall, are having a 48 hour fundraiser to help construction on the first permanent Chabad Jewish Center (and the only Orthodox synagogue) in the state of Mississippi.
Renovations and remodeling have already begun, and they need to reach their goal of $10,000 to complete the project.
The Halls, who founded Chabad of Southern Mississippi, are dedicated to creating a warm environment for every Jewish person on the Mississippi Gulf Coast to experience their heritage.
