Crown Heights’ main thoroughfare will be closed from 8am to 6pm this Sunday, June 10, for a day of fun and learning for the whole family that is promising to be most unique.
Residents should be advised that there will be no parking allowed on Eastern Parkway between Kingston and Albany Avenues from 12 midnight Motzei Shabbos until 6 pm Sunday evening.
The free event is organized by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Jewish Children’s Museum, and will feature an indoor and outdoor extravaganza that organizers say should not be missed.
Agents of the FBI, Secret Service and Homeland Security will be teaching children what the SWAT team does, how an investigation works, how the FBI Bomb Technicians do their work, and the robots that make their job safer.
Participants will also be able to see a real coast guard boat and pretend to be President of the United States while sitting in the Presidential Limousine, right here in Crown Heights.
For the grown-ups there will be special workshops which will include lectures on real life cases, special operations, terrorism, identity theft and more. Join the workshops to hear from special guest speakers and from representatives of the TSA and Federal Air Marshals on airline travel and security.
This is an opportunity not to be missed and a great day out for all the family. Entrance is free and the first 100 attendees will receive a special free gift.

Is the FBI blocking the streets to keep everything safe. Once the streets are blocked, no one can come in. Everything’s safe. Have a wonderful time
Which streets/blocks will be closed off & when? We have a right to know, some of us have to get out of the hood & back in again.
I hope the yeshivas are taking the kids, otherwise, who is this geared for? boys would love this but they are in school until 4:00
I’m looking forward to taking my kids….
where will all the people who live on this block be able to park.
Are the schools taking the kids?
