Message from the Keller family:
Avremel Keller, father of 8 ka”h, had a life-threatening reaction to an anesthetic given for what should have been a simple outpatient surgery.
He was in Lenox Hill hospital for optimal care. After stabilizing him, he was taken off the ventilator. Shortly after that, he had a stroke and additional complications developed. For the last 2 days, he has been sedated and the extent of the stroke’s damage was unknown.
B”h since last night, things are looking better. The night passed well, he was awake and alert, understanding where he is.
The doctors are even hoping to take him off the ventilator today.
The Kellers thank the Crown Heights community and Yidden all over the world for their incredible generosity. Dropping off checks for thousands of dollars, making online donations (www.chwomenscircle.com/donate), etc.
Avremel’s wife is so grateful for the support and the knowledge that they will get through this difficult time with Hashem’s help and your support.
There is still a long road to recovery and your tefillos are needed for Avrohom Ben Shterna Sara.
Good Shabbos, looking forward to sharing good news.
Thank you for the wonderful update!

Refuah Shleima – glad to hear things are looking up. please sue the hospital, at least get compensation after the whole episode is behind you. I’m sure there are unforeseen expenses now, including loss of income.
