The annual Mid-Atlantic Kinnus Hashluchim will be taking place on Sunday, July 26, in Northern Virginia.
Participants are Chabad rabbis who direct Chabad Houses, educational and social institutions in the states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and District of Columbia.
The hosts of the convention are Rabbi Sholom Deitsch of Northern Virginia and Rabbi Levi Deitsch of Vienna, VA.
Topics at the single day Kinnus will include “Finding ourselves in challenging times” and “Halacha in Modern Medicine.”
Amongst the speakers are Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch who oversees regional conventions, and Rabbi Yossi Jacobson of Crown Heights.
A key speaker will be Terry Bresnick, CEO of Innovative Decisions, Inc., a consulting firm whose mission is to help people make better decisions.
With over 30 years experience, Bresnick has facilitated with strategic planning for Chabad Lubavitch of Northern Virginia and will use that experience in his presentation.
