South Florida – Shelanu Israel Relief proudly presents a captivating evening of art and music set against the enchanting backdrop of Chabad of SW Broward’s campus in Cooper City. This extraordinary event features the distinguished artist, Haim Sherrf, and the internationally acclaimed pianist, Gershon Wachtel, in their first-ever collaboration, promising an evening brimming with inspiration and Jewish culture.
Haim Sherrf, a self-taught artist from Montreal, brings a lifetime of artistic passion and dedication to this event. From his humble beginnings as a child painter in Israel to his global exhibitions, Sherrf’s art has mesmerized audiences worldwide.
Accompanying the art exhibit is the soul-stirring music of Gershon Wachtel, an internationally acclaimed virtuoso pianist currently residing in Jerusalem. Wachtel’s repertoire spans classical masterpieces to traditional Hebrew melodies, transcending genres and touching the hearts of listeners with each note.
Shira Shen’s unique style of Judaica pop art will shine through an interactive art installation, reflecting her interpretation of Jewish perseverance. Further elevating the evening are the magnificent works of Rachel Cohen.
The event will be held on Chabad of SW Broward’s beautiful 6.5-acre campus, renowned as a hub for cultural enrichment and community engagement in South Florida. Guests will be greeted with a wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, and expertly crafted cocktails, setting the stage for an evening of delight.
Doors open at 7:30 PM on Thursday, February 15th, inviting attendees to immerse themselves in the ambiance of art, creativity, and culture. Guests will be able to take home a piece of the evening by purchasing a piece of art.
