Dovi’s Camp Gan Israel Florida, named in loving memory of Dovi Fellig OBM, just finished a phenomenal first session on its newly acquired 100-acre campus in Central Florida, leaving campers eagerly anticipating the exciting weeks to come.
Throughout the month, campers enjoyed nonstop action and Chassidishe energy across the expansive grounds, which include two air-conditioned gyms, vast open playing fields, an in-camp zipline, and boating on the camp’s extensive lake. These experiences make each day at Gan Israel unforgettable.
Exciting trips brought even more thrill to the summer, with outings to bowling, ice skating, an exclusive water park buyout, and a grand trip to Busch Gardens. Each trip was packed with fun, friendship, and adventure.
“Alongside the incredible recreation, CGI Florida stays true to its core mission: strengthening each camper’s Chassidishkeit and Hiskashrus,” says Rabbi Yossi Biston, Executive Director of Gan Israel Florida. Daily learning classes were filled with enthusiasm, boosted by competitive Kluger games that made learning Torah a thrilling and engaging experience.
In addition, campers arose early for ‘Cocoa Club’ to study Tanya and Mishnayus Baal Peh, and took part in an incredible Tzivos Hashem program that rewarded dedication and growth in their daily Avodas Hashem.
“Thank you so much for a wonderful Summer!” a parent relates, “My boys enjoyed themselves tremendously and enriched themselves in a joyous chassidishe environment. So much nachas!”
This summer also marks the second successful year of the ‘Temimim Division’, a separate program dedicated to Bar Mitzvah-aged Bochurim. With their own Zal, dining room, secluded wood cabins, and a full schedule of exclusive trips and programs.
“The Temimim Division are truly thriving both Beruchniyus and Begashmiyus,” says Rabbi Yossi Goldblatt, Camp Director. “The division is now preparing for a deeply meaningful trip to the Rebbe’s Ohel and 770 — a highlight of the summer that will strengthen their Hiskashrus and identity as young
Chassidim.”
Camp extends a big Yasher Koach to Rabbi Dovid and Mendy Fisher who helped turn the ‘Temimim’ program from vision to reality.
As camp enters its second session, a new wave of excited campers from across the country has arrived to experience what so many are calling the most exciting summer of their lives.
