After being distributed in Shuls and schools for the last five years, a group of generous benefactors have joined hands with A Chassidisher Derher magazine to encourage Lubavitchers around the globe to have the magazine delivered directly to their home.
A 25% sale on A Chassidisher Derher home subscription is taking place for the next 10 days, due to the generosity of The Print House, Eliezer and Luba Kornhauser, Shmuli and Chani Gniwisch, Meir and Naomi Gniwisch, David and Malka Sarah Medina, and Dovid and Malkie Smetana.
“Through A Chassidisher Derher magazine, we can relive year-round occurrences in the Rebbe’s presence,” said donor Eliezer Kornhauser, “and fascinate minds with little-known facts and accounts. The magazine is a source of genuine Darkei HaChassidus and hiskashrus to the Rebbe, so it is vital for every Lubavitcher to have it brought into their homes, so their entire family can benefit from its messages.”
Offering home delivery in every country around the world, the subscription drive offers subscription for a low cost no matter where they reside.
The magazines carries a similar tone to the Kovetz Lubavitch periodical which was circulated amongst Lubavitcher Chasssidim during the Frierdiker Rebbe’s Nesius and in the early years of the Rebbe’s leadership. The Rebbe served as Editor-in-Chief of the periodical.
The introduction to the first issue states as follows:
“In the past, in der alter heim, when anash and temimim had the opportunity to come together at ‘headquarters,’ to spend time in the Rebbe’s shlita presence, such a periodical was not considered a necessity.
“Nowadays, however…a bulletin is needed to mark the key occurrences in beis rabbeinu; the farbrengens on special days; the sichos and various directives that we hear from the Rebbe shlita regarding the obligations of every individual in the current ever so crucial period of time…”
