In what has become a yearly tradition, Crown Heights Junior N’shei is holding its women’s health symposium on Wednesday, February 26 at Lubavitcher Yeshiva. Women in their childbearing years are invited to attend “An Abundance of Health” and reap from the wealth of knowledge, inspiration and practical advice.
The doctors have become an important feature at Junior N’shei’s health event in the past, providing accurate and practical information borne of years of study and experience. They will address numerous topics relating to conception, pregnancy and childbirth in a way that all participants will benefit. They will also be discussing complications that may arise during these stages. Dr’s Klinger, Dori and Gorelik have been serving the community for over twenty years and are arguably the most well-known names in maternity care in Crown Heights.
Mrs. Shimona Tzukernik will be featured at the event, speaking about her “Miracle Twins.” Get ready to be spell-bound and inspired by the internationally renowned speaker and her fascinating story. Mrs. Tzukernik is a well-known and beloved Crown Heights resident and is also the founder of “The Method for Self Mastery.”
Often, the journey of pregnancy has bumps in the road, and A T.I.M.E has done an incredible service to the community by offering support and assistance to women undergoing miscarriage and infertility. “When the Heartbeat is no Longer: A frank talk about miscarriage” is sure to be informative and empowering.
“We are excited about the upcoming the event,” said a Junior N’Shei co-ordinator. “Hashem created us in such a beautiful way, it is important for women to be educated and feel empowered during their child-bearing years.”
Apple Drugs will have a display table at the event showcasing a variety of vitamins and health foods. Prenatal vitamins have become the Swiss army knife of pregnancy health, but often women can benefit from additional supplements and improving overall nutrition.
